Caféstudy Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms of Service
Caféstudy is owned and operated by Edentify Pty Ltd ABN 18098656707 (referred to hereafter as 'Edentify')
Caféstudy is open for membership to individuals of age 14 years or over who are residents of Australia, New Zealand and overseas. Membership of the Service is conditional upon acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in this document. The completion of the online registration process constitutes the member's acceptance of these Terms of Service. Edentify reserves the right to vary the Terms of Service, specifications, rates, rewards, rules and terms and conditions of any element of the Caféstudy Service at any time without notice.
2. Conditions of Membership
Edentify reserves the right to terminate the membership of individuals who violate the following conditions of membership:
- An individual may only apply for one membership.
- Each email address can only belong to one member.
- Each mobile number can only belong to one member.
- An individual must not join nor use the Service on behalf of another individual.
- The member must inform Edentify of any change in the member's personal details, including email address and street address. This can be done by logging in via the Caféstudy website and going to 'YOUR ACCOUNT'.
- Any other reason deemed inappropriate in the reasonable opinion of Edentify.
- Edentify also reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual without cause or reason.
3. Points and Payments to Members
Edentify points shall have no cash value and the member shall have no property rights or other legal interests in points earned, unless otherwise notified by Edentify.
Edentify is not liable to redeem points to the member where the member has accumulated less than AUD $20 value. Further to this, the reward of vouchers, goods and/or services to the member is solely at the discretion of Edentify. The member is solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information provided for the purposes of delivery of EFT, PayPal and eGift cards. Members outside of Australia can only redeem via PayPal where $20 AUD will be converted to local currency.
Upon termination of membership, the member will forfeit their points balance and all rewards. Edentify reserves the right to adjust points awarded to members where an incorrect amount has been issued due to a computer or system error without notice.
All good things must come to an end, and that even applies to the life of Caféstudy points.
Caféstudy gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of Caféstudy Reward Points. Caféstudy may terminate or suspend Reward Points at any time. Caféstudy will give a minimum of one notification via email as notice to Members of such termination or suspension, except if Caféstudy ceases to operate as a business and/or has gone into liquidation or other form of administration in which case Caféstudy Reward Points will cease immediately.
- Except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, Points will not expire as long as the Member remains an Active Member.
- Points cannot be re-credited once they have expired.
- Caféstudy reserves the right to reverse or cancel any Points credited to a Member incorrectly, or not in accordance with, or in breach of, the Terms and Conditions at any time.
4. Privacy
The Caféstudy Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Use.
In the event the Edentify and/or Caféstudy business is sold to a third party, you grant Caféstudy the right to transfer the personal information and other data and rights that Caféstudy has collected from you to that third party, and Caféstudy will not be required to obtain your prior consent or approval or to notify you of such a transfer.
5. Disclaimer of WarrantyThe member acknowledges that it has not relied upon or been induced by any representation by Edentify and Edentify makes no warranty or representation as to:
- the results that may be obtained through membership of the service;
- the accuracy, reliability or otherwise of any information obtained through membership of the service;
- the financial or other rewards which may be obtained through membership of the service;
- the service or network being uninterrupted, timely or error free;
- the goods and/or services purchased or obtained through the service or network, including goods and or services offered by third party advertisers, except where expressly indicated.
6. Limitation of Liability
The member releases Edentify and its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates from any claim for loss, damage or liability, including special indirect or consequential loss or damage such as loss of revenue, unavailability of systems or loss of data, in respect of:
- any emails forwarded to the member;
- membership of the service;
- the members use of or inability to use the Caféstudy service;
- the quality of goods and/or services purchased by the member;
- any dispute with a supplier of goods and/or services.
Edentify does not guarantee that access to Caféstudy website will be uninterrupted or that the Site or any associated website is free from viruses, Trojans, time bombs or any other malicious code, including anything which may damage any device when accessing Lifestyle Survey or any data on such a device. Australia Post is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or technical problems including any injury or damage to the Member's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any material in this reward scheme.
You agree to indemnify Edentify and its related parties, officers, agents and employees (Indemnified Parties) in respect of any claim, action, damage, loss, liability, cost, charge, expense, outgoing or payment (including legal expenses (on a full indemnity basis) arising from or relating to:
- your use of the Caféstudy website or any content you submit through the Caféstudy website
- a breach of these Terms of Use by you and
- your breach of any applicable law
7. Unauthorised Use
As a Member, you are responsible for the use of your Membership account. You must immediately notify Edentify of any unauthorised use of your account if you become aware of such unauthorised use. You must keep your membership login and password secure at all times. You agree that you will not commit or attempt to commit ANY acts, including to earn or redeem Caféstudy points in a manner that conflicts with these Terms of Use.
In addition to the terms of the respective Surveys and Forums, you agree that you will not provide or submit false information and will not tamper with Surveys and Forums in any way.
8. Indemnification
The member indemnifies and keeps indemnified Edentify and its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates against all claims (including third party claims), demands, damages, costs (including legal costs), penalties or suits arising out of or consequential upon the members use of the service or the Caféstudy service.
9. Termination
You may terminate your membership to Caféstudy using the "unsubscribe" button in the Login area. These Terms of Service are effective until terminated by Edentify. Edentify may terminate these Terms of Service at any time without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales and of the Commonwealth of Australia. The member submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Edentify Pty Limited ("Edentify") is committed to observing the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012, which amends the Privacy Act 1988.
Edentify has adopted all principles set forth in the Australian Privacy Principles that govern the collection, use, disclosure, quality, security, access and correction of information that personally identifies an individual ("Personal Information"). This Policy Statement applies to all Personal Information that Edentify may collect, use and disclose, whether that information is manually or digitally processed.
Edentify recommends that you keep this Policy Statement for future reference.
1. What Personal Information does Edentify hold and disclose?
All Personal Information collected is required and used for Edentify's business purposes only.
Edentify gathers and stores Personal Information when an individual registers to become a member of Caféstudy and redeems their points. Your participation to surveys, forums, Café Chat and mobile polls is voluntary.
At registration we ask members to provide Personal Information. This information is used for targeting purposes, so the member will receive appropriate online research invitations.
All data collected from surveys, forums, Café Chat and mobile polls is stored and can be accessed by Edentify employees, Edentify contractors and Edentify clients. The Personal Information we collect is not shared with any unaffiliated third party, unless it is necessary to respond to your questions, provide the service you have requested or to comply with applicable law. We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party not affiliated with Edentify without your prior consent, except in connection with the sale, merger, in whole or part, of Edentify, its assets or the division responsible with such services.
Any Personal Information that you transmit or include within Café Chat may be viewed and used by others. We are unable to control such uses of your Personal Information and by participating in Café Chat you assume the risk that such Personal Information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties.
Edentify does not actively seek to collect sensitive information (for example health information, or information about racial or ethnic origin or criminal record) unless it becomes necessary for its business purposes. If Edentify does have to collect sensitive information, it will do so in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. Data Security
Edentify utilises reasonable and appropriate protections to ensure that Personal Information in its care is not misused or lost or accessed without proper authorisation. Access to Personal Information stored on Edentify servers is restricted to those employees, clients or contractors who require such access to perform a legitimate business purpose relating to the Services, maintenance, internal security or other related issues.
All Edentify employees and contractors, as a prerequisite for employment, are required to sign a strict and detailed confidentiality agreement in relation to the Personal Information that they will have access to.
3. Children’s Privacy
Edentify do not knowingly collect any information from any child under 14 years of age without permission from his/her parents or legal guardian.
4. Correction of Personal Information
Edentify takes reasonable steps to ensure that all Personal Information that it holds is accurate, complete and up to date.
Individuals should promptly notify Edentify if any Personal Information that we hold about them is incorrect or out of date.
5. Access to Personal Information
Members can access and update, amend or delete Personal Information at any time using their personal log in details or by contacting a member of staff.
Individuals seeking access to their Personal Information should contact Edentify directly. Edentify will process all requests for access within a reasonable time. In certain circumstances, we are permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles to deny requests for access or limit the access we provide. If we refuse or limit access to your Personal Information, we will tell you the reason why.
6. Changes to Privacy Policy, Opt-Out Process
We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions from this privacy policy at any time. Your continued use of our service following any changes to Edentify’s privacy policy means you accept such changes.
You may at any time remove your Personal Information from our list of active users. All unsubscribe requests should be sent to support@edentify.com.au and we will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt. We are not responsible for removing your Personal Information from lists of any third party who has been previously provided your information in accordance with this policy.
7. Acquisition, Merger or Bankruptcy
In the event Edentify, its Parent or any of its Affiliates or Subsidiaries is acquired by another entity, or merges with a third party, the Successor Entity will be bound to respect the provisions of this Policy, with regard to any Personal Information in its possession prior to the acquisition or merger. In the event of bankruptcy, the provisions of applicable law will apply.
