Emissions from industry and transport and deforestation. Not moving away from oil and gas to cleaner energy and embracing clean energy like solar, onshore wind, green hydrogen. We don't use energy efficiently also in the way we build our homes which also needs to move toward passive solar principles and sustainable practices around renewable energy (no air leaks and heat pumps etc).

I think there are multiple causes that are interlinked to effecting global temperature rising. But a common factor is unfortunately humans...our interference in cycles, deforestation, pollution, use of various chemicals such as CFCs, over commercialisation of just about everything, and our obsession in accumulating wealth and possessions has meant a massive deteoriation in the health of our planet.
It's no wonder that any aliens out there would give us a very wide berth lol

climate change is inevitable, a fact of nature. we just happen to be living during a change in conditions. there is no single cause to any change in climate or temperatures.
