Which species do you prefer? Canine or feline?

Dogs are loud and full of bark,
They'll chase their tails and eat the park.
They slobber, shed, and beg for food,
And jump on guests—so very rude!

Cats, however, reign supreme,
Majestic rulers of the dream.
They nap all day in cozy spots,
Ignoring all your afterthoughts.

Dogs need walks, in sun or rain,
They drag you out—it's such a pain!
Cats just sit and watch you slave,
Like royal beings, calm and brave.

A dog will greet you, wild with glee,
A cat will judge you silently.
They'll squint, then turn and flick their tail,
Like, “You exist? Oh, what a tale.”

Dogs need love, attention, play,
They follow you all night and day.
A cat just needs a box and fish,
And you? You're merely their assistant—ish.

So bow before the feline might,
They rule the world, it’s only right.
And if you think dogs stand a chance,
Just ask your cat—they’ll simply glance!

Canine first, but there are a few smart cats around

I LOVE BOTH!!!
I have two dogs and always been more of a dog lover - their faces are just so full of love and joy!
However I've had cats in the past and my partner now is more of a 'cat man'.
Dogs are more needy (Which I love) Cats are more independant (which also has it's benefits). But both are filled with love and joy <3

I have neither by choice. I find dogs smelly. I dislike both of their excreta. They can both be destructive, especially when bored.
I like cats a bit more but would not have either as a pet.
