With Esports and gaming becoming more mainstream how important is it that clubs both big and small push their teams into a formalised fitness program.
And why do you think what you think.

I believe it’s incredibly important for clubs, regardless of size, to integrate formalised fitness programmes alongside Esports and gaming activities. Physical fitness directly impacts mental clarity, reflexes, and overall endurance—all of which are critical for peak gaming performance. A well-structured fitness regimen not only enhances players’ ability to compete at the highest levels but also promotes long-term health and well-being, countering the sedentary nature of gaming.

Moreover, integrating fitness into Esports programmes reinforces the perception of gaming as a serious discipline. It elevates the professionalism of the teams and attracts wider audiences and sponsorships. By encouraging a balanced approach, clubs set their players up for success both on and off the virtual field. A fit gamer is not only sharper in-game but also better equipped to handle the pressures of competition and the demands of a growing global audience.
