It's time for Cafestudy to take a good long hard look at itself, after all, we are in the business of market research. So let us know what were your main reasons for joining Cafestudy?
Was it what you expected? What if anything is better than you expected and what is not as good? If you are a member of another online panel what makes us different?
And finally, if Cafestudy were a famous person, who would it be?

Finally!!!!! I received an email to do a survey. I can't remember the last time I got one after being an active member for some years. I think it was around 2021 I received my last invitation. Am I exaggerating? I thought you had gone out of business but around 5.30am this morning, just for a moment, I was quite excited. I was wanted and not totally forgotten. Then "puff!" The magic bubble of happiness burst - I was excluded and tossed out for some reason. I don't know why nor why I had been forgotten for so long. Maybe it's like the parcel I sent for my daughter's birthday last year which never arrived. I was lying beneath the heap of more exciting people, unwanted and forgotten until suddenly someone realised I was still there. Perhaps now I have been re-discovered and dusted off, I may still have something to offer and my contents will still be of use and I am not past the 'use by' date. As I am about to go overseas for a month I fear I may be overlooked again and tossed into the 'return to sender' bundle. I remain hopeful that I will be handled with care and my vintage offerings are received with joy.

I'm always attracted to the incentives offered by survey sites so that would of been one of the main reasons for joining, but I do like doing surveys. I don't get that many from here compared to others, but generally speaking they are better surveys overall. I generally don't have expectations other than getting surveys to do. Cafe Study is different to many other sites because they have this area to put your opinions etc, but there are others that do similar also. Sorry I always find questions about if a product or in this case cafe study was a person or an emotion what would they be really bizarre. I consider that I have a good imagination, but I am totally stumped when it comes to answering this sort of thing.

Besides the obvious rewards scheme, reading through the subsections gives me many different perspective point of views which ranges from new reading material to try to ideas that open a world of new things to try and experience. It's more than what I expected with all the subsections of other people's views. As far as the surveys are concerned I am a little mystified when I get cut off mid survey because the product/s in question aren't in my demographic. Mystified because I would have thought that even if the survey wasn't pertinent to me; even though you selected me for the ones you send me, that like in scientific method there is always a controlled group or placebo that is the balancing factor for credibility. So if I was to select a famous person to liken this site to, it would have to be Sigmund Freud; necessary but mostly irrelevant these days.

I joined to do surveys. I got paid for five in 2020 (screened out of the few I got sent), and just three so far in 2021.
I am a member of so many other sites - and I get daily survey invites and I qualify (and get paid) at least weekly from all of them. Except here.
Famous person? Donald Trump. All mouth and no trousers. All promises and no reward. I've been a member here since 2006 and I've managed to redeem just a handful of times. Most other sites I manage at least annual payouts...

It's time for Cafestudy to take a good long hard look at itself, after all, we are in the business of market research. So let us know what were your main reasons for joining Cafestudy?
To learn about new things; input towards products and services; for rewards and incentives.
Was it what you expected? What if anything is better than you expected and what is not as good? If you are a member of another online panel what makes us different?
Not really what I expected, as I dont get as many surveys as I would like as there is alot more "chats" etc; aned no reminders to contribute in them all.
I am a member to many panels and find you get alot of notifications and email reminders for the chats, forums, surveys so it reminds me to contribute. With our ever busy lives I find this is where cafe study falls to the wayside.
And finally, if Cafestudy were a famous person, who would it be?
If cafe person were a famous person I would say someone like margot robbie. Down to earth, yet mysterious and private.

I've been a member for many years now. I joined out of the blue when I was trying to make some extra money during college and have stayed ever since. I enjoy talking to the community and answering surveys which I hope helps the topics I am eligible for. Plus, the best thing about CafeStudy compared to other survey sites is that the community is very friendly, there is more than one way to win a prize and unlike some survey sites, Cafestudy actually pay out and don't make you signup to random things or give your information out! I especially love the topics for the $50 Egiftcard 'Have your Say Competitions' which regularly occur.
The one downfall that I have noticed recently is, there haven't been as many surveys as in the past and if I do get one, I am normally not eligible for numerous reasons despite my profile being accurate. This is why I love the 'Have your Say Competitions' to make up for survey's I'm not eligible for which other survey sites I use do not have.
I also love Cafestudy's community and reading the topics/responses on the Chat Forums which further diversifies Cafestudy from other survey sites which normally don't have that community feel to it.
Overall, Cafestudy is one of the better community driven survey sites that I have used and will continue to use and recommend to anyone who is looking to contribute on topics, answer surveys and make some extra cash in their spare time.
I'm unsure of who exactly CafeStudy would be. But, I'm sure there is a famous non-for-profit person out there that get's people thinking and talking about what's going on in the world. I say this as Cafestudy doesn't ask for anything from its users other than a few minutes of our time, pays us and gets us thinking/talking about the worlds ongoings at the present time.

I can’t remember when I’d joined it feels like I’ve always been a part of this community. Looking at the date, it coincides with becoming a parent and feeling isolated and overwhelmed. Cafe study has provided fun and engaging opportunities to be heard on topics that (generally) matters. I have enjoyed being challenged to think a little harder and deeper on a variety of topics for this I am grateful. The financial incentives are not my main driver to contribute, i wouldn’t participate if I didn’t really want to share.
The best surveys are the multi part ones so that I can better appreciate the subject and reflect on it but those seems to have disappeared. My least favourite are the TV show related ones, I wonder how effectiveness of advertising can be properly quantified/assessed?
The personification of Cafestudy would be a constant companion that I’ve grown fond of their quirks so maybe a celebrity like David Letterman comes to mind?
justinsleary
I joined cafestudy obviously to gain the incentives offered, but I also enjoy offering my opinions and being involved in discussions.
Of the survey panels I am involved in, Cafestudy is one of the better ones. Why? I feel valued by Cafestudy. The surveys are pretty good, and, although I am not sure why, I do feel valued by CafeStudy. I feel that Cafestudy values my opinions and rewards me fairly, if not sometimes, generously. When I get an email from Cafestudy re: a survey, I always click on the link because I have a positive feeling about Cafestudy in general and so I am motivated to be involved.
So cafestudy has met or exceeded my expectations.
I am not sure who Cafestudy would be if they were a famous person, although in general I feel they would be a compassionate and ethical scientist, working for the common good and for the benefit of others.
Kiki Chiki
Main reason - for financial rewards. It was what I expected, however there don't seem to be a lot of surveys to complete so earnings are limited compared to say pureprofile.
the survey experience itself is good as the surveys are generally short and well organised. on other survey panels, you can generally just log in and complete surveys rather than waiting for an email.
if cafestudy was a famous person it would be a chat host like jimmy kimmel as they talk a lot but not a lot of content! sorry just mean fewer surveys and rewards than other companies.

Joined Years Ago...I Don't Like The Little Amount Of Survey's Offered....Give Me More !!!!! Please Sir...!
Voicing My Opinion Is Something Which I Enjoy And Having The Option To Check What Others Think Is An Other Thing I Love...Famous Person (Cafe Study)...Not Sure But Jacinda Ardern Will Do...She Seems Level Headed And Knows Crap When She Sees It !!!

Hmm I joined a long time go. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t for the rewards. Having said that I’ve come to enjoy doing market research. I’ve learned a lot and expanded my knowledge on all sorts of products, social topics and services. I appreciate the screen out points and the fact that this site doesn’t screen people out after they’ve completed a lengthy amount or often cases all of the survey. I don’t like using the word scam but that’s how it’s starting to feel on some of the other survey sites. It would be good to get a few more surveys here. My famous person would be Ronni Kahn. She is making a difference to the lives of so many people through OZ Harvest and helping the environment.
jrl
A good survey platform - surveys not overly long, and generally well designed. Very mobile friendly. The only downside is that there aren't enough of them. Keep up the good work!
saintrobbie
I joined for the exciting chats /surveys and reading reply's from others some are great the way they just know what to say . And my famous person is Tina Turner for what she been through and what she has achieved in her life.
Killarney
Well to be honest for the rewards as a pensioner this makes a huge difference to my lifestyle. Also interested in people view but I don't often contribute as my thoughts are often covered by other members more succinctly than I could. looking forward to an increase in points though lol
Anthea31427027
I love cafe survey however I would love if there were more surveys and tasks. The surveys and tasks I have done have been quite interesting and rewarding and the reception process is easy.
Scooby68
I joined mainly to get a reward, nothing like a freebie right. However I didn't expect it to be si limited in its rewards. 10 minute surveys for 2 dollars. Also you expect everybody to be conformists. It is meant to be anonymous but I truly doubt it. The famous person would be Nicholas cage promises a lot but a bit disappointing in the end
Andrew32090936
Hi there would love to get more surveys Cheers Donald Trump
Mariasuzanna
It’s interesting and a way to contribute to better products and services. I wonder though whether older people are excluded. I’m older, still working, vibrant and involved in family and community. Do you encounter a disinterest in my cohort’s views?
Bill Gates!
TaylorCS
That's great to hear Mariasuzanna! We definitely value your opinion no matter what age group you sit in. We simply only send relevant surveys to you.
Also, look out for competitions (there is one going now on the home page) and 2,000 points given out monthly for great responses across all of our discussions.
donny
I remember there were rewards offered. I have done some surveys, never any mention of any rewards. So no, not what I expected. And no, it is not better or as good as I expected. No I am not. A famous person? I would say Henry Ford. His first 2 automobile companies failed. Maybe Cafe Study can do what he did and become a success. Oh, and one other thing. I only changed my password recently but I had to change it again to log in this time. Surely security is not such an issue with Cafestudy that I have to change my pw every time I log in? It is really REALLY annoying. I will pull out of the online panel if that happens again.
TaylorCS
Hi Donny, Thanks for your feedback! You need 200 points to redeem so once you reach that amount a 'REDEEM POINTS' option will appear in your menu bar. To see how many points you have, please go to 'MANAGE ACCOUNT' > 'POINTS HISTORY'. Also, look out for competitions (one going now on the home page) and 2,000 points given out monthly for great responses across all of our discussions. I'll email you about your password issues as this should not be the case :)

Reasons for joining Cafestudy - voicing my opinions about relevant topics, reading others points of view and of course, the change to be rewarded.
It has been great however there are not very many surveys on offer compared to other online panels.
If Cafestudy were a famous person, I feel it would be Rhianna ... popular, edgy and cool but then seems to vanish.
meg
Cafestudy seems to have more different & interesting surveys - unfortunately I seem to be 'unwanted' for too many. The response to problems & queries is great.
Perhaps Richard Branson - innovative & a bit 'out there'.
echo 01
If Cafe study was a famous person I think it would be like Clint Eastwood a bit long between movies.
echo 01
I joined cafe study to give my opinion and receive rewards now and then. I would like more opportunities as I enjoy doing the surveys.
If Cafe study was a famous person I think it would be like Clint Eastwood a bit long between movies.
bodgiebro
I joined Cafestudy to give my opinions and to gain a reward every now and again, Cafestudy is pretty much what I expected not that there are many survey invitations to be had but I try to give my opinions when I am invited to a survey through my email survey invitation. It would be nice to receive more invitations to increase my participation and I could also then be rewarded much more often. I am a member of quite a few other survey panels but they are mostly similar to Cafestudy who can pass as Elvis Presley I feel!
Elizabeth
Why not get paid for your opinion. I joined quite some time ago and love that I get paid for giving my honest feedback. If I can help a company do better what more can you ask for. I don't get a lot of surveys and could always do with some more. The surveys are easy to complete and great now that I have the app. so I can complete it in my lunch break.
If Cafestudy was a famous person it would have to be Katy Perry,,,, always bright and bubbly.
littleblackbird
I joined to give my opinion and to get rewarded at the same time.
I rarely get surveys and am often screened out. :(
I think cafe stuff would be Brutus from Ceasars time! :)
PhilR
Love your surveys, rewards are fair and surveys interesting, just not receiving invites often enough
wendel
Was hoping for more involved surveys about what people do in their daily lives.
ranbaato
When I get surveys I quite enjoy doing them but the very rarely come. The topics are always interesting but not often for non alcohol drinkers. If it was a famous person it would be someone you know has good stuff but you don't hear much from like Jeff Lynne ex elo and the willburys.
renee2786
I was interested to give my opinion and liked the idea of being able to do so in exchange for points I can cash into gift cards etc.
It was way better and more enjoyable than I expected and whats better is the platform itself and the layout and how easy it is to be apart of and how quick and easy it is to redeem my points.
If Cafestudy was a famous person they would be Katy Perry because their cool fun and genuine.
Radda
Love Cafestudy, but you offer only few surveys a month, very rarely I receive any invitations. I am happy to contribute more but not many surveys are available. Other online panels have way too more surveys which make them more appealing. If Cafestudy were a famous person, I would say they would be Mariah Carey - she has great songs but only few are famous. So is Cafestudy - great surveys but too little are on offer.
renee2786
more surveys would be great!

The Dali Lama, as he is a kind reliable man, who sets good will and happiness to the world.

I like to get paid for opinions about a wide range of topics. A lot of surveys are relevant (ie qualify for) and the app is easy to use. I would like to see more surveys. I don't think any famous person could be likened to cafe study - it is far to down to earth.
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback jr!
MRfuzzy
Love the survey's and the rewards are good too. Yes I like the subjects that the website talks about ,it rates about the same as other survey website as they are all easy to answer questions. The famous person I think for Cafestudy would be DeGeneres
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback MRfuzzy!
Zaire
I quite like being part of cafestudy. I get surveys fairly regularly and qualify most times, so I guess I fit many target demographics for this company's clients. I think the rewards are quite reasonable. I like cafestudy better than other panels because the surveys are better designed and easy to fill out, and usually quite quick to complete. If cafestudy were a famous person it would probably be Steve Carell. Easy going, fun, youthful and reliable
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback Zaire! We love being Steve Carrell, how fun!
spunky70
Dont get many surveys at all.
Ziah
It i nothing like I expected. I expected surveys. I have not qualified for a single survey in 2021, and I qualified for a whole 5 for the entirety of 2020 (covid notwithstanding). I was led to believe there would be regular surveys with regular payouts, and I have been sorely disappointed. I have been a member for 15 years, and there is no incentive for long term loyal members whatsoever. I feel very disappointed by this survey group overall.
And as for a famous person? Probably Oprah - overpromising and underdelivering, all mouth and no trousers.
TaylorCS
Thank you for your honest feedback Ziah!
beavis
I enjoy being part of a community like Cafestudy and helping in some small way to shape the future of new products, etc.
I have been somewhat disappointed in recent times as the number of surveys I receive is very low, probably less than one per month.
Can't actually think of a famous person who suits this brand but I guess it would be someone who is pretty laid back and love to sit and have a coffee and a chat.
TaylorCS
Thanks for your constructive feedback beavis!

I joined because I love to have a coffee and a chat. However since becoming involved with the different aspects of Cafestudy I have realised you are one of the more professional survey sites and offer good incentives for human feedback and opinions. I think you are doing a marvellous job and I enjoy to associate with you. If you were a famous person you would be Johnny Depp. He is very approachable and loves to have a candid chat over a coffee and a smoke :).
TaylorCS
Amazing feedback capfantastic! Thank you, we appreciate having you as a Caféstudy member.
swamy
Be up-to-date about what's going on. Spend time fruitfully with Cafestudy.
More surveys on market research could be made available.
Want Cafestudy to be more reasonable in increasing the number of surveys and reducing the frequencies.

Thanks for your feedback swamy!

My main reason for joining Cafestudy was by recommendation. I heard about earning rewards for participating in research but wasn't expecting much from it. It is true, the surveys are very few & between. That's ok though- I like that you need to qualify to participate instead of just faking your answers! More opportunities would be great though!
I have to agree with Teegan, someone famous that you forget about until you see their name!
TaylorCS
Great to hear you joined on recommendation Kris10! We appreciate your feedback!

Miquela. She’s a robot. I think cafe study woukd be her! I think having a colaborar woukd be amazing! Cafe study reminds me to Miquela!
TaylorCS
Although we are real humans, love the analogy! Thanks for your feedback Chantelle 31820767.
Alison32073469
I find market research fascinating, and surveys a fascinating research tool. I find it funny when I attempt to do a survey but then get booted out. I also like how this doesn’t waste my time filling in a survey I can’t adequately contribute too. The surveys are well laid out, easy to follow, and I rarely feel trapped into answering a question I feel I can’t answer accurately, which happens often enough elsewhere (in which case I feel manipulated and give up).
And finally - which famous person? I’ve just spun the random generator in my brain and come up with Madonna 🤷♀️
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback Alison! Glad to hear you enjoy taking our surveys :)
Teegan
I feel like it’s very rare I get invites for surveys from cafe studies and didn’t realise there was other options to earn. I think more correspondence about opportunities would be better to assist members.
Not sure about the famous person.... someone who is popular but you forget about them until you hear their name.
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback Teegan! We have popped the spot prizes for responses in newsletters but will make a better effort to make sure this is better communicated, we have a competition going on right now on our homepage! In regards to surveys, we only send you ones that are relevant to you.
Gerry1945
I agree, maybe I just get 4 to 6 surveys a year.
Dena31948125
When I joined in, I wanted to see how this works. I never been doing surveys ays online and winning prizes.
The good thing about cafestudy is the discussion panel and sharing ideas, as well as collecting points.
The survey invitations are reduced to the minimum this year which is not good😅.
If cafestudy were a famous person, I would like it to be Steve Harvey of course.
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback Dena31948125!

I have been a member for quite a few years. I feel I don't get very many survey invitations from Cafestudy and until a couple of months ago wasn't aware of the reward for answers to chat, therefore I think the communication of how to earn rewards could be communicated better along with an email each time a new topic is posted for discussion. These are the ways in which Cafestudy isn't what I expected because it seems a bit laid back and sporadic with activities and communication. I do however think the topics for discussion are well thought out and not meaningless or inappropriate like some survey sites. I do like the spot rewards for good contributions as I think this encourages engagement, with the point having to be made to people that 3 or 4 word responses don't cut the mustard as they don't add any insight for further development of research by cafestudy. It is nice that people who put effort in are rewarded in the program. I think polls are a good way for a survey site to gauge opinions on topics before launching into writing a full blown survey, so maybe more polls with a small reward would be a good development.
As Cafestudy is relaxed I view the site as George Clooney slowly sipping a cup of coffee.
jtmorri
You're welcome Taylor. 👍
TaylorCS
Thanks for your feedback jtmorri, we really value your opinion and great responses! And we'd LOVE to be George Clooney slowly sipping a cup of coffee!
