1. Style. I want a car that gives me a buzz each time I look at and get into it. So far lack of finding something that I really like the look and feel of has been a major factor in me not purchasing a new vehicle and still driving my nearly 20-year old Corolla which I still love.
2. Safety features. Although I think a good driver is the main safety factor when it comes to driving, new vehicles have a range of safety features that could help me. I want a good balance of ones that I consider will help me the most.
3. I'd really love a hyrbid or electric vehicle. The latter is sadly way beyond my budget, but maybe I can stretch to a hybrid. This is something I'm still exploring and trying to understand. At this time I feel it's really important to do all we can to help the environment, and I think it is important that I do this when it comes to a vehicle. I will continue to look at hybrid cars and get to understand the costs associated with them, and hopefully my next purchase will be a hybrid.
Oh, and this is a 4th (oops) but I was really surprised to see that some cars now don't have a spare tyre. I find this weird, and don't think I would feel comfortable not driving without one, especially if driving longer distances and out of the city, so that is on my list as well!!!!
