I recently went out with my sister , her Daughter , husband and 4 children for her older daughter's 20th birthday, We do not go out much to dine because of the price.
I could not believe the price of the food, it was just a Thai Restaurant nothing flash, the service was slow as there was only one waitress, yet three barmen standing around laughing and joking behind the bar.
The cocktails were $19 each and the cheapest food on the menu were the entrees,
$14 for spring rolls and satay sticks, we did not have dessert, the bill came to $450.
I nearly died from shock.
How to big families afford to do anything these days if that is what it costs to dine out for a special occasion.
