How do you feel about Christmas? Love it? Hate it?

Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

Hi Ziah, know how you feel, i have one daughter who i don't see unless I go to her shop, then the look I recieve makes me feel as though I'm a nuicence not her mother. i only observe Christmas for the grankids that I do see some were interstate but they have moved here about 2hrs away so that is better. basically I don't believe in the Christian meaning for two reasons, it has been proven that the child Jesus was actually not born on the 25th Dec but somewhere between end of Jan to the middle of april, whuich if you listern to the words of one of the Xmas Carols "while shepards whatch their flocks by night all seated on the ground," December is winter in the northern hemisphere so I dought the wsheep or shepards would be out in the cold and in some places snow (seated on the ground). Also I am a wiccian (witch) so we celebrate the summer solstace here & the passing of the winter solstace in the north but whatever you make oif Christmas may the Godess bless you and guide your stepsm in the path of light.
Livelong and prosper.
