    Discussion: Mind set

I think that most of our health problems are a result of our poor choices, wrong food ,no exercise, bad relationships, bad habits, anger, stress, failing to be responsible for our actions and so on .
We can also look to the drug companys and the medical profession for some of the bad advice given to scared and confused people.I think if we used a lot more common sence ourselves and searched out the cause of the problem and dealt with that instead of looking at the problem.

Kez says: I totally agree. However sometimes it can be a big challenge to find the cause of a problem or overly time consuming, but its often worth it. Drugs are often just bandaids.

simmo says: Gday Kez you are right finding the cause can be hard and frustrating but it is the only way to get rid of the problem as you said drugs only treat the problem not the cause. One of the biggest causes is mineral deffincey agood place to start..S ome other causes to look at lifestyle, food, stress, worry anger and so on.

sumwun2 says: I think MindSet has a lot to do with our health, but education also... How many people would be completely different if they had different education from parental figures, the media, even at school. How many people - if they had never been told about specific illnesses, would NEVER experience symptoms? It is the same with fast food and advertising....

shachah7 says: i think it all starts with yourself. no use blaming drug companies and medical professions, its your choice who you choose to consult, how you eat and how you exercise. time to take some resposibility.

lucylue says: i agree with the mindset theory and we are not only responsible for our own health we are also responsible to teach the next generation that there is more to life than fast food and game consoles. healthy choices in adults who are happy then show the kids they interact with what healthy choices can give you in the way of quality of life.

simmo says: It is our responsibilty to make the right choices and we should not blame others for our wrong choices but there are those that need to be shown the options so they make the right choices.
We are brainwashed every day to believe that the doctors and their drugs are the only way but this is not so why not look at what we eat , how we exercise, how we think ,who we listen to,do we sleep enough,do we stress?
All these things have a baring on your health, listen to people who have reached a ripe old age and find out how they have lived, why listen to someone who is just out of nappies and learned every thing they no from books, theory is great but it dose not relace experience.
