I am thinking of giving up my job and trying to work from home. Does anyone have any ideas for earning income at home?

Look at your talents and skills and find like minded people who want to share the same by networking using the net. Build a business with these people and rest in time will become history in the making.

Wow thank you havalaugh, that sounds really good and I will look into that myself...I had played around with the idea of making money online because of the many email I use to receive that sounded all so easy to do without any effort at all but, I forked out lots of $$ to places I thought were legitimate and honest but found websites that went nowhere. I was not given what I was promised and it turned out to be a rip off scam where i lost what I couldn't afford to shell out in the first place :( It put me right off looking any further. However, after 5 years of not looking I think Sugar Mums sounds like something i can check out and be safe in. Thank you havalaugh :)

Some ideas could be proof reading university thesis work?
Sewing repairs and alterations services?
Growing veges, raising seedlings, and selling on?
Caring for children - home base care
Caring for pets whilst owners away ....

I seem to be inundated with 'wonderful opportunites' to earn fabulous money through buying software that gives you a seemingly effortless income stream! The trouble is I subscribe to the theory that if something sounds to good to be true it usually is! I find myself wondering whose income stream I may tap into! So, I guess I stay clear, especially as I am a little techno-phobic and tend to fly by the seat of my pants where the internet is concerned..in other words I am no help at all!! Would love to hear of a part-time way of earning money at home though...

I work from home, have a consulting business most of which I can deliver on line. I went backto the basics and worked out what Iwas good at doing and what I enjoyed and used that as my basis to search. For example, if you enjoy using the computer and have good secretarial skills there is a vastnumber of people who consult but are useless as putting reports to gether or managing their online/paper files - I use a person to assistn me when the reports are big - use my skills for what I can do and pay where I need the help - hope that is useful
