hi there to all
are you aware that all police officers if they carry a firearm of any discription they must have on there personal identification badge it must be showing at all times
or the firearm must not be displayed
i am wondering if any of you have ever watched the police officials
quite of thewm are under the impression that there uniforms are there badge of honour
they are completely wrong and may not drive a police marked vehicle unless the badge which displays numbers as well as the emblame of the court they represent is present
just something for the younger ones to learn as the uniform can be duplicated and purchased through the internet under police supplies
thank you

Aw look someone told me about this ages ago and their is actually a number you can call to check a car or officers identity but I can't think of it now. Particularly for female drivers it's worth contacting your local police station and asking them

omgoodness don't get me started on security guards, they are a law unto themselves and whilst one can say this of many industries. I wonder what on earth some companies are thinking when employing these people.

this is open to real abuse, and is a worry! Training and life experience are needed, as well as psychological profiles before anyone is put in charge of a firearm. Agree about the security guards,...

the hassle is any one can put togeatjer a uniform for the police and security guards
and pistols are only showing the handle
so where is the identification part and this is why it is so important

Agree about the security guards, appreciate their job is potentially dangerous... as with the police, which is all the more reason to be sure who has fire power.

you could always do what a few of us have been doing on the mobile phone there is a video record sequence
re4cord and let your lawyer have a look
or post it on the net
most are beong asked who are these people and where are the identification they have to carry by lay and show on request
have had a few large arguments with security guards that believe they are police officers

Yeah its a hard thing, I always wonder with the unmarked cars, I guess you have to pull over for flashing lights but one thing I will never do is roll down my window or hop out of the car unless they show their identity as you never know who could be impersinating them
