After hearing that Tony Abbott is considering a paid/subsidised scheme to have a Nanny for children to be minded whilst their parents are at work. I think this could be a very attractive option to families that are unable to use Day Care for various reasons. I know I would prefer that option. Having a child cared for in their own home by a registered qualified Nanny sounds very appealing to me. I don't know what the details are (what rebate would apply, how long it would be funded etc.) but I am sure there are a lot of families that would be interested. What do you think. I have put this under this heading as I think it could be a vote winning policy.
