Everyone should be able to help, doesn't matter if you don't have any money, there are many other ways. 1: I give blood regularly - costs nothing, and is easy to do. 2: I take part in fundraising - most recently, World's greatest shave, cost me nothing but a bit of time. The final shave / colour day was yesterday and all involved had a great time, lots of fun, all while raising money for a serious illness effects almost everyone at some point in their lives, could be yourself or someone you love. 3: I am a foster parent for AWDRI Australian Working Dog rescue Inc. I do have to have a bit of money for food etc, costs of vet care are covered by AWDRI which is then recouped when the dog finds it's forever home. These dogs are usually left at the local pound to be put down, because the owner doesn't know how to look after a working breed. We give them a second chance, the reward for doing this is an amazing feeling within. I love what I do, and all this on a part time income, and while paying off a mortgage. You DON'T need exessive amounts of money to make a difference!
