Best way to dontae?

Hello, I am currently trying to start making money to donate to my local "opshop" which donates all procceds to homeless, poor, sick and beaten people. I was thinking about making things like clothes, nitting or sowing as such in spear time to sell and donate the proffites to the opshop. My only problem is i dont really know where to start.. Whats the best things to make, to sell and where to sell it? Or how to promote that its going to a charitie. Would someone please let me in on some tips and secretes?
