TNOTW was Britain's biggest selling newspaper. So obviously,it gave the newspaper - buying public what it wants. Now that it's all blown up in Murdoch's face & their sordid tactics have been exposed, isn't it time people who used to buy this rubbish & were titillated by unsubstantiated gossip take some resposibility for making it the (financial) success it was for years? The Australian arm of the Murdoch empire also consistently claws its way to the bottom of responsible journalism.Where do all this anonymous sources come from? Is right wing bias a prerequisite necessity for tabloid newspapers?
