I am a firm believer in this topic being discussed within families so all know your wishes, I truely believe we need to go to an opt out situation like mant other countries. I speak of this with first hand knowledge my 38 year old cousin die unexpectly in the Uk some year back and 14 people either had their lives saved or now have a better quality of life. It wasn't till many months latter I had been talking to her husband on the phone and remark how there had been a tragic death here of a well know person and I commented at least something good come out of something bag. To this day I think it was the first time he spoke of how horrible it is as it is not one set of paperwork but one for each organ and he said it was like disecting tour loved one, this needs to be changed then we will get more donars. I also watch every day as my god daughter waites for the call to go to the hosp[tal as she needs a liver and pancreas transplant. so yet again I say talk about it make your wishes known register as a donar also make sure the family Dr knows
