I have recently joined the local Lions Club because all the money raised is used for needy causes. As all members are volunteers,no money raised through various activities like Fairs,Barbecues etc is used up by administration fees & other expenses occurred by professional fund raisers. It also fosters a community spirit not motivated by profits

My husband and I have been members of a Lions Club for many years. We work quite hard, alongside our fellow Lions and manage to raise many thousands of dollars which all goes to assist International causes, Australia-wide causes and our own community. It is important to know that every cent of money raised from our activities is donated to worthy causes.
