Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

This is why I love to open my home up to others in the same position. I have family here, but it's dysfunctional. Family is now the many friends and "outcast"/lonely people I have gathered around and continue to get to meet over the years. My children love it, have grown up that way and have the expectation that there is always more that just us at the dinner table.
