They do great work at rehoming animals and encouraging law changes. I volunteered there for 2 years.

Hi, something we should all remember,even the people who don't like animals, is that we OWE animals for the success of the human race, civilization, and our own existence, to animals,especially dogs and horses. Without the strength of the horse, little progress would have been made. Dogs aided man for thousands of years,catching food, guarding home and herding stock.Not least, being mans best friend. Cats too have had a major role to play in helping with rodent control. Even the ships cat always was treated with the respect it deserved. Imagine the chaos of a ship overrun with rodents! There should be no such thing as "Death Row". I hope the recent trouble in the news,(9/11/2012) relating to the R.S.P.C.A.Tasmania, will end in a better solution for the animals.
