Do you want to make big changes in your life next year? Is it time to stop procrastinating and start living the life you've always dreamt of?

Hi Glenda & Laur, Thanks for your replies. First my situation... I'm 64, happily retired, don't qualify for a pension. I participate in surveys so that I can shower my 90 y o mother with gift cards. A pensioner, she'd never accept cash or any form of charity, but I guess she figures I get the cards *free* so it's no big deal...! Yes, I do appreciate the opportunity to comment on a variety of consumer, environmental and political issues... .
I 'belong' to well over twenty survey sites. Over the years I've shed at least a quarter... for a variety of reasons. The first of these were unfulfilled promises, points schemes which failed to materialise, or slave wages! The second occurred on retirement, when suddenly I was no longer a 'professional'... I was a retiree. Suddenly I was screened out of 25% of surveys. I didn't matter that I enjoy a high income in retirement... most times I was ditched the moment my occupation (Retired) was entered. Perhaps even more insulting were those formats which encouraged participation for 15 - 20 minutes... THEN screened me out... having gathered a lot of data. There's a third group of panels which allow one to accumulate _almost_ enough points, then cease offering surveys.
Pretty frustrating!~
OK, I had intended to list the panels I've ditched over the years (I'll do so if requested. Maybe they've worked for someone else.) But my priority is to list the best here, those which regularly offer one surveys, pay generously, offer the best incentives... and reply to an email quickly, if there's any issue:
1.) Valued Opinions: I received thou$ands from this group. They even enclose a letter of sincere thanks. Nice people, says mum, who gets all cards directly, at her address...
2.) Pure Profile: Pay very well. You can only get a payout every two months, so make sure you get $50 at a time. Very interesting, quick, regular, short surveys.
3.) Your Voice (Now SSIS/OpinionWorld): Was Neilsen, may still be. Not as active as they used to be, but still regular payers. Did they lose interest when I retired??
4.) Research Panel: Have started to become more active and regular.
5.) Rewards Central: Incremental, but they pay out regularly. On a par with...
6.) ... Global Test Market. Again incremental, but regular payers. On a par with...
7.) What Do You Think? Again incremental, but regular payers.
8.) My View: Have been more productive recently...
9.) My Opinions: Have been more productive, recently...
10.) Mint Surveys (really ORU... but they follow-through... unlike ORU)
OK... where's Cafe Study, in there? It's in a very different category. Maybe it's really a Social Networking site, with an occasional reward(?) Has a lot going for it, but there are very, very few paying surveys... .
I'd be interested to hear others' views.
NB: Just bought mum an iPad2 and wireless/G3. I figure she can boost her pension with just the first three panels I've listed!~
