Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

Christmas is a time to bring family together near and far. To share food, conversations and love regardless of what the year has brought. Over time, the symbol of Christmas has been hijacked by material gifts of giving instead of simpler things. Gone are the days of a christmas card sent via the post; it is now an e-card automatically created just in time for you to receive it before Christmas Day. Before a plate with your favourite disney princess was enough. Nowadays you need the spoon, fork, knife, cup, saucer, placemat and above all else, the dress to which you need to wear to the tea party you will be setting up. What has happened in the world full of simplicity...technology and the media has turned it into a rush for "keeping up with the Joneses". Bring back simple Christmas before our future generations forgets what it really means to be home for Christmas.
