Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I love Christmas. It will always have a special place in my heart as I love to remember that it is the birthday of our Saviour Jesus. What's not to love about birthdays. We celebrate them for ourselves and our children, why not for Him. I don't get caught up in the materialism of it all. I do give gifts, but simple and heartfelt. I get much joy out of giving and spending time with family that is otherwise busy. Keeping the real meaning of Christmas in perspective takes the stress out of the season and keeps it as simple as the first one ever was. Merry Christmas.
