Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I remember a Christmas when my 5yo literally jumped up and down on the spot when she saw her new bike.
I remember a Christmas when my flange gasket blew and the cop in the car at the lights next to me just waved.
I remember a Christmas when I woke up all alone because it was "his" turn to have the kids.
I remember a Christmas whenI'moved interstate to be near my aging parents and Dad offering me a beer at 10a.m. He cooked.
I remember a Christmas when I went to my parents and I cooked because they could no longer do it.
I remember a Christmas without my Dad.
And I remember a Christmas without my Mum.

But I also remember going to midnight mass with my Dad (and neither of us is Catholic)
And I remember getting a Barbie with bendable legs. Oh back then that was heaven.
