Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I unfortuantly wish xmas would come & go as quick as possible.
Only because over the last 15 years I have had quite a few unpleasant experiences that have happened at that time of year.
Like breakups , family differences etc , even a black eye by an ex & then having to meet overseas relatives for the first time .
I think it is however a nice time for familys to all get together and spend quality time with each other.
I still love giving my nephew and neices pressies and think if they are brought up to look forward to & they enjoy it then I am happy for them.
I do my best to try and enjoy xmas but am really just putting on a brave face for others as its not nice to ruin it for them , so on a positive note Im sure xmas will one day be really a enjoyable time.
