Do you beleive that psychics exists? Or do you think they are people who are just trying to pretend to be so?

I went to a Psychic approx 7 years ago with a friend who had made an appointment and wanted someone to go with her, after she had seen my friend she gave me a reading, I had never met her before and never told her anything about myself. She told me things about my business, my family etc, some of it had happened and some hadn't, one of the things she told me was that I would meet some from over two seas, who would be gentle, honest and hardworking, it would happen very quickly and I would be married within 6 months and there would be lots of traveling ahead of me! I had just come out of a bad relationship and laughed this part off, telling her I was never going to get married again and there was no way I could afford to go traveling!

Well, fast forward three years and I was coordinating my friends wedding on New Years Eve and I met the Best Man, ironed his shirt and went about my business. A month later we met up again at a trivia evening, hit it off and organised to meet for lunch the following day. He told me then that he was from Canada, leaving the country in 10 days and for his last weekend he was heading to Taupo area with his friends but wanted to spend time with me, altogether we had 6 days, 5 nights before he flew out.

We figured it was just a holiday fling but ended up emailing and Skyping, he asked me to go over and see him, meet his family, and attend his niece's wedding, which was impossible for me financially at that time, he offered to pay for me to go, no strings attached, his sister also contacted me and offered to pay for me. After discussing this with my children I finally accepted his offer and went. We definitely had something happening between us. I went over and knew as soon as I saw him again that I had done the right thing, met his family and friends and learnt more about him. I had been there for 3 weeks and a week before I was due to head back to NZ we were at a family get together, he took me aside and asked me to marry him, a shock for us both but I had no hesitation in saying yes. As I had been married before and he hadn't we wanted to marry in Canada, we didn't tell anyone as we weren't sure if we could get a license to marry in time before I left, we couldn't in Canada but could in New York. We decided one night to go over to Buffalo, New York and the next day we went over and got married at the Courthouse before heading back to have dinner with his parents and some of the family, resulting in a small celebration dinner! The whole family then put together a small Wedding Breakfast for us and friends, then two days later I flew back to NZ. My husband followed two months later and we have been happily married for 3 years so far, had lots of traveling within NZ and with a trip back to Canada in the pipeline.

My husband comes from over two seas, is gentle, honest and hardworking, I met him, had 5 days with him and married him, all within 6 months!.....I had forgotton about the Psychic until I was cleaning out a drawer a year later and I found the tape of my Psychic Reading and yes, it happened just as the Psychic had said!!.....do I believe......in some of it....YES!

If one is going to see a Psychic, maybe ask around before choosing who to see, go with an open mind, there are those who do have the gift and there are people out there who pretend to be what they are not, remember you are in control and you take what you want from it.
